Don The Stat - Adelaide Crows - Opposition Dossier - 2024

We have two trips to Adelaide in the first weeks of the season, Port Adelaide in Gather Round (Round 4) and then we're back to face the Crows in Round 6.

The Crows we considered the 'unlucky losers' of 2023, missing out on a spot in the finals thanks to a contentious goal review against Sydney in the second last game of the season, a game the Crows lost at the Adelaide Oval by 1 point. Perhaps they're right to feel hard done by, but the Crows also only managed two wins away from home all season. They beat the Hawks by 3 points in Tassie and the Eagles in Perth.

Thanks to Gather Round, the Crows had an extra game at Adelaide Oval, where they won 9 from 13, finishing the season 10th on the ladder with 11 wins and 12 losses, a percentage of 116%.

That's a 4 win improvement on 2022, when they finished 14th.
