Clancy Snell: Brave in the air, with more to unlock
Clancy Snell gives Essendon supporters a couple of easy reasons to take an interest.
He barracks for the Bombers and is a cousin of the Duursma's. But the Gippsland Power Key Defender’s football is interesting enough without those connections, given the likely need to bolster our key defensive stocks now that Jordan Ridley has found a new home.

Intercept marking is his weapon
Snell is at his best when he can read the incoming ball, peel off or come forward and attack it.
He judges the drop well and gives himself a chance to arrive where the footy is going to be, rather than simply following an opponent towards it.......
